Adaptive OEC & Lift Evacuation Seminar

Build the knowledge and confidence to better serve adaptive athletes.

Adaptive athletes are a growing part of outdoor recreation. This hands-on seminar prepares patrollers to provide informed, respectful, and effective assistance across a range of emergency situations — including athletes who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or low-vision, or who use three-track, four-track, sit-ski, snowboard, or adaptive cycling equipment.

What you'll gain

  • Greater awareness of adaptive athletes and their equipment
  • Practical strategies for caring for injured adaptive patients
  • Insight into the added challenges of extrication and evacuation
  • Tools to champion greater inclusion within resorts and patrols
